Drawer makers

Post by JonR » Wed Apr 04, 2018 9:15 am

Anybody here geared up for making dovetail draw boxes ? costing up a wardrobe that needs 4 no draws in Walnut for approx a 900 in frame carcass, unfinished or finished don't mind with Blum/Grass/hettich softclose runners.

Any links to draw makers that you have used and would recommend would be appreciated.

I used probox for a job. Not sure how their prices compare because i didn't shop around but the drawers were stunning and delivered on a pallet wrapped up like they were the crown jewels. All bespoke sizes so pricey.

I too have used probox, and thoguht the serice was excellent.

I had a feeling Pablo on here may have set something up to do with drawer manufacture but I may be talking off the top of my head!

In fact ooking at the area it may be the drawerbox company mentioned above but don't quote me on that!

Got a cost from Probox £816 inc vat and delivery for the 4 all in, i guess its worth it in the long run less hassle for us even though we could make them.

Thanks for the replies

I've used shaker 2 go for doors before, they're pretty good.
Have also used Hafele for drawer boxes - not sure how they compare in price with the others suggested though.
