Diamond Sharpening Stone

Postby thekarter » Wed Mar 20, 2019 9:34 am

I have had a diamond sharpening stone for some years but it's now almost worn out.
I have seen on eBay - Faithfull Tools FAIDWKIT 290 x 70 mm Diamond Sharpening Stone - Clear are these any good? My old one was purchased from DM tools, are there's better?

I've got the same one, it's pretty good. Like most diamond stones it needs a bit of breaking in to lose it's initial coarseness but once done it is a good stone for day to day sharpening.

I know this is a bit late to the party but the best diamond stones I have used are the DMT continuous ones.
I've found that others can take a really long time to break in - and often seem more course than they say. Has anyone else found this?
