Hi,
I'm going to start contacting dealers but wondered if anyone has a 950mm wide belt sander going? We also need a spindle with sliding table and power feed (power feed not so important as we can get one).

If you're cutting sheet material for cupboards then even a cheap track saw can be extremely accurate. You also need less space than a table saw to cut large pieces.
I lived without a table saw for years when I started out.

I've ordered an iTech twin bag with 5000m³/h flow with a 200mm inlet so plenty and could potentially take a 2nd machine at the same time.

I've been asked to quote to replace some wardrobe doors with birch ply. I usually dissuade people from large birch doors as they tend to warp or twist.
Anyone notice a difference between 18mm and 24mm in terms of stability? The doors are 530mm x 1830mm so not too big.

I would ring/email a few machinery dealers if I were you. Tell them your requirements and a budget and they will tell you if they think they can find something. Sometimes they will unload a machine for cheap if they don't want it taking up space. Ebay is more expensive than dealers these days!

The benefit is all you need is a drill and table saw or chop saw with depth stop.

Those brackets will work but obviously won't look great and you won't be able to mount the leg too near the corner.
I would use a standard knock down bracket (attached) which will mean adding an apron around 3 sides of the top.

Companies like timbersource will plane timber to any size you want. Or find a local cabinet maker/joiner to plane some timber for you. They'll charge you an hourly rate probably.

Put biscuits/dominoes as well as pocket screws. Put plugs in to cover them or fix a panel to cover the entire underside.

They specifically ordered lengths of domino. Why not make their own in matching timber if they've got a thicknesser and router table? Shouldn't use beech dominoes for exterior work.

Thanks for posting the review. I recently had a go on an SCM planer with spiral block and it was incredible. You wouldn't need ear defenders using it!
