Incra Miter 1000 SE - SOLD
Incra Miter 1000 SE - SOLD
I have a pretty much brand new Incra 1000 SE mitre gauge that I bought in May 2015 from woodworkersworkshop.co.uk (lots of info about it here) in an attempt to make my atrociously bad table saw usable. I failed and bought a new saw (a Hammer Winner, amazing saw for the record). Hence I am getting rid of this extremely nice, pristine condition mitre gauge. The only thing missing is the box it came in. It has probably made a total of 15 cuts. It's a really nice solidly built, accurate, user friendly bit of kit but my saw has no mitre slots so it is of no use to me. It cost me £152.95 but I'll take £100 for it.

Welcome to the forum. A few photos of your new toy would be good when you get a chance and possibly a bit more of a review

Thanks for the welcome. By new toy do you mean the new table saw? I'd be happy to offer my thoughts on it though I'm sure much more knowledgable folk than I have more than covered its virtues....

Assuming you will post? I will take that please.

Yes I did mean the saw - always good to have someone's first hand experience. Cheers, Steve

Re: Incra Miter 1000 SE
Just an update. I PM'd those of you who asked about the mitre guage but being a Luddite and given that I've had no response I'm not sure that the messages sent so apologies for that . I'll repeat what I said....In the interests of fairness the first to post an enquiry (tinytim) gets first refusal and so on...
I will post to you if you let me know where you are.
Thanks

As this is now on Ebay I guess the thread should be closed.
Re: Incra Miter 1000 SE
Hi, I wasnt aware that it couldn't be listed elsewhere. Is that the case? If so my apologies and I'll remove it from one or other.
I have yet to hear back from the fist 2 respondents following my replies to them so I was spreading my bets, so to speak in case this bore no fruit. If I don't hear from the first by the end of the day I will offer it to the second and so on.

I don't think we have a problem with someone offering something for sale both here and elsewhere, I've done it myself on several occasions. On the other hand, the mods on UKW will ban you, your family and any close friends if you have the temerity to offer an item for sale anywhere else.

Fair enough (reels neck in) I must just be used to the rules "over there".

I'm sure we must have some rules, but I'm not sure where they are. One of the motivations of setting up this site was to try and do away with as many rules as possible as most of the members are sensible adults with the exception of Jason, but in the words of the Goons, "He don't count - he don't read or write either"

Dear all,
My apologies. Due to my newness to the forum and my inability to properly communicate with those of you who have expressed an interest in this item I am sorry to report that in the meantime someone on eBay has just bought it. I'm sorry being a dofus and I will close this thread and the other one too so as to not annoy anyone further. Lesson learned
