single phase motor or 3 phase converter
Re: single phase motor or 3 phase converter
I'm looking at doing this with a Cooksley planer I just bought.
Can your existing motor be run on single phase by changing from star to delta.
I'm not an expert so wont try and give any advice - I'm sure someone who knows more than me will come along and help.
This man in a shed might help...

I know for a fact that this never sold

Edit, I had it fitted on a ber2, had the pulley machined to fit on the spindle which I'm sure I think I still have somewhere.

Re: single phase motor or 3 phase converter
Hmm i'll ask the question to my motor rewinding type bloke .
Re: single phase motor or 3 phase converter
If it's Bob, he wired the starter up for me that I fitted to this motor, I put that starter on my AGS just before selling it to Mark so can't help with that.
