anyone having trouble uploading pictures or is it just me? any pointers would be greatly appreciated

get a photobucket (or similar) account, and post the image code into your post here.

That's what I do anyhoo

Load your photos onto photo bucket http://photobucket.com/

When loaded hover the cursor over the required picture, 4 url address will appear,left click the bottom address, this will copy it & then simply paste it into the thread on here.
