Problem with the latest sketchup

Can anyone assist

Downloaded the latest sketchup to a additional laptop however when I go to export a drawing as a jpeg to my documents I only get a lined drawing with no infills shown can anyone assist

I've heard of this once or twice. Not specifically related to SketchUp 2013. In those cases the problem turned out to be outdated video drivers. You might try updating your laptop's video drivers to the most current version and see what you get.

I've started using the snipping tool which allows me to save images as displayed

I nearly always just do a screen shot rather than try and export - easy on a Mac as you can select the area you want to dump on the clipboard using cmd + F4.

Screen shots are fine if you don't need better quality images. Export>2D Images aren't difficult at all and you can create higher resolution images if you want them. I only use screen shots when I need to show tools for tutorials.
