vintage machinery section
vintage machinery section
I was wondering if it would be possible to have a new section for just vintage machinery , i.e wadkin, robinson, domminion etc , for members to discuss restoration and running of such old kit etc.
Re: vintage machinery section
Steady
you know what happened the last time a new section was created

Re: vintage machinery section
I don't know, I like the "elite members only" section Jason created last week, invite only, really entertaining and all the other members are my class rather than the normal riff raff we get around here.
I particularly like the way you get a weekly bonus related to your post count in there. Also the fact it's allied with Festool tools and we can borrow anything we want.

Thanks Doug for your reply, new here so not sure what you mean. Senior again can't say i understand but i would say its a great idea to keep all the joiners in one place .
We really do need this section, I think this would bring alot of new people here and would be a great asset to this forum. Very interested in any views people have. thanks.

Just joshing, as was Bob.
The last time a new section was asked for, the Design section, the majority of really regular posters left just after it was set up because of an unrelated debacle
Best not rock the boat too much, a few more might fall overboard
