Postby bdshim » Sun Jan 19, 2014 5:05 pm

i never really thought much of the more expensive planes untill is got a LN no5 second hand and could tell the difference, so maybe looking to get a different smoothing plane and use my current stanley one for site work, the LN no4 is not cheap though at £270 but they do a low angle one http://www.lie-nielsen.com/low-angle-be ... ing-plane/
for slightly cheaper dose anyone on here use the low angle one for everyday use same as a normal pitch one?
just thought id ask
cheers
