Hello and I need a saw blade re cutting

Hi everyone, I'm Chris, I started working wood at School back in the 60's. I make my own retail stands for turnery and other bits and bobs I make. I want to prepare some logs to allow me to re-saw them on my band saw but I need to crosscut the logs first. I could make it easy and just use a chainsaw, but I have a couple of old saws that I could use if they had enough teeth .

You would think in Steel City, you could find a company making, servicing etc, hand saws. There is Flynn-Garlick (in Sheffield) who make new saws and sharpen blades, but do not re-cut old blades. There are other industrial sawyers but the ones I have found wont touch these hand saws. Does anyone know of a company that will re-cut hand saw blades in my area?

I would try Alltools in Sheffield. Their Nottingham branch has a one week turnaround so, I presume, they have something similar.
