Courier/delivery for wide belt sander..

Hi
Need to move a wide belt sander (1100kg, 2m tall, 1.65m wide, 1.8m depth ) from Essex to West Devon. We’ve been quoted £600 + Vat and was wondering if anyone could recommend a delivery service (hopefully a bit cheaper..).

I have had stuff delivered on pallets a few times that are slightly bigger then they are supposed to be and its always been ok......Its not like they weight the pallets !

National Pallets do a "FULL OVERSIZE PALLET" for £116.00 ish (depending on location) - specs below - you would need to lay it on its side if its 2m tall....you would also need to tell a very small porky pie about the weight. I won't tell anyone

Sorry Ive just seen you are slightly over on the dimensions too, maybe phone them and see if they will take it on an oversized pallet.

Thanks for your suggestion rhwilliams. After a lot of ringing around found a company who've offered to do it for a little over £300. Hopefully all will go well and by this time next week we'll have a wide belt sander positioned in our workshop..
