Extractor airflow calculation

Anyone know how to calculate the air volume an extractor will pull. I have found a 4 bag system at a good price but am unsure as to air volume. The plate on the motor says
3kw 2800 rpm running on a 200 mm inlet.
Any help most appreciated.

what are you extracting to?

3kw on a four bag seems a little on the light side?

I think the inlet will give you an idea I suppose.

Have a look at what plate says, will give you an idea on a 160 outlet.

Hi Mark,
Cheers for the picture of the motor. I spoke to a helpful chap at an extraction place who did me the sums and it came out about the same. He reckoned it would be OK on the 4 sider which needs about 2800 cubic meters and hour, if the run was short, minimum bends etc. Motor is a lot smaller than the one I had in the UK, but its a multi sock affair and has got the sides as well so I can put it outside and the price is a steal. I am thinking it would be an interim solution because there is so little about at a reasonable price here.

To be fair, I bought that from Inventair and they are very good, I am unsure where you are in the world, I wonder if they would ship to you?

I'm over in Germany, to be fair I'm keeping my eye on ebay at home as well. Any excuse for a couple of days away, plus fuel is so cheap at the moment ...
