Changing from Felder combination to seperates.

I've always been a Felder guy. My first combination came from ABB The train builders at York, it was a high spec BF 6 26 and I used it until something blew up on it, sold it for what I had paid for it originally, then I bought my current machine a CF736. It does everything however I tenon on a multi tenoner and mortice using a sedgwick machine. A drill stand and trend router table complete my set up.

I'm moving workshops and may move again sometime soon, I'm loath to have this big hunk shipped and to mess around getting it into my new place and then possibly have to do it all over again as I have been through that pain before. So reluctantly, I'm thinking of selling it and buying separate machines.

M budget is whatever I get for the Felder....I'd prefer to buy good used robust machines and a big plus on the felder has been the cross cutting of panels using the sliding table so I guess I need a saw capable of doing that accurately and to be robust.

Planer thicknesses can be 10 or 12 inches, I have always liked the Sedgwicks, but what others are robust enough for trade use?

Spindle....well the tilt feature on the Felder is very useful but with a planer like a sedgwick that rebates or cuts 12mm and bevels, I could use that for sill profiles etc....

So tell me, what machines are out there that are shiny and good looking like my lovely felder and that can do the job and are robust, lasting me ten years or so until I retire? 3 machines, budget say £5k, maybe more if I sell my tenoner and get a spindle with carriage for tenons....

Most of my stuff is Wadkin or Bursgreen . That would be spindle moulders , surface planer , table saw and thicknesser . I think the morticer is a Multico and the tenoner a Sedgewick . All nice solid cast iron .
I'm not sure i'd want to swap any of it for a modern machine .

I'd hang onto the Felder and the tennoner! I've got a (Felder) spindle with a sliding carriage and all the tennoning attachments but I wish I'd got space for a dedicated tennoner.

I've got a CF731 Felder Combi and a Multico tenoner

If its the same as mine you can either get a wheel kit or alternatively it can easily be moved with a pallet pump truck (they are designed for it as its how they are delivered)

With a Combi you will only have to move one machine as opposed to at least three to match the combi (Saw, Spindle and P/T)
