New to wood finishing

Postby Dhtommy » Tue Sep 08, 2015 1:31 am

Hello all

Looking for abit of advice (alot) for painting wood. I paint cars for a living, so have a spray booth and compressor and hopefully most of the tools. I recently painted a kitchen for someone using 2k car paint and quite enjoyed it. Is there any courses in northern Ireland preferably that do training? What's a good paint to use (2k cost me a fortune) spray guns to use etc...... Any advice at all is appreciated thanks

Morrells paint would be a good place to start. They used to run a wood finishing course, but I think you would have to come over to the UK for that. Plus they also make pretty much all you need paint and lacquer wise.
