but I have a serious question about securely holding wood on the lathe. I've only been turning for about 12 months and thought I'd try my hand at off centre turning after seeing this video on youtube. http://youtu.be/IcnPjNFdLX4 The suggested securing option is to use a steb centre but should I buy one that fits in my chuck or one with a morse taper?
Off-centre turning aside, I quite like the idea of using the steb drive centre over the usual 4 point drive centre but opinion is divided at my club. Does anyone here have an opinion?
