Fruit bowl

Well Apple really, I`ll refrain from saying I knocked this out last weekend, :? but I seem to remember it was Saturday when I found this lump of Knarly Apple.

Started like this.

Nice job, mate!

I like the way that you have left bark on some of the rim but not all
I thought I saw the light at the end of the tunnel, but it was some b*stard with a torch bringing me more work!

Couldn`t get the bloody stuff off, there`d have been nothing left of the bowl if I`d have removed it all.

croutons are the answer Ed, push them into the holes dry, they then swell when wetted with the soup & seal the holes.
The added bonus is you can sit & pick them out whilst waiting for the main course to arrive.

I enjoyed turning this, I really like natural edged items, not that I`m allowed to keep them, SWMBO doesn`t share my tastes :o :?

Brilliant Idea Bob. I`ll wear it to W12, that way you lot will all recognise me & no need to look silly wearing naff badges.
