These are a few doors I've recently done for a renovation. I went back the other day to touch up some units i also did. So i grabbed some pics (iPhone so not the best)

these first 2 are in idigbo and are for the walled garden. I usually use sapele but i thought id give idigbo a go. Nice an light as the big door is over 1m

the back door is sapele with 25mm insulation inbetween

these were just internal french doors to match existing. all were just supplied glazed and primed.

Doors have push catches on. The builder was supposed to put on 9" ogee skirts but instead the joiners used 5"?? so it looks bloody daft.

left end is for 2 boilers and round to the right is for washer & dryer.

The tops were added on after for more storage.

Their were 4 more of these all different sizes an a 3m long one in master bed with etched glass doors but forgot to get a pick of that one.

I've only used Idigbo once and it was ok, funny grain as its a bit like Sapele as it can go both ways.That Blue entrance door looks very wide or is it just the camera angle?.

I've just finished making and fitting some some bowed (curved) sash windows which were fun to make but squeeky bum time as I was a tad worried they wouldn't fit..

Thanks. The door was just under 1100 wide but was only 1900 heigh so makes it look even wider, an yes very similar only idigbo is half the weight. Any pics of the sashes, bet they were good to do! I did a bow window in the summer. Tried getting the picture up but says file too large. i can only do the drag an drop as i can never get the flickr thing to work

Do you mean insulation between two panels in that back door?

Yes, the lining with c*ck bead was 16 mm either side and i was going to use some 25mm kingpin in-between but i had a bit of tri iso left on a roll so i used that instead so its really got 100mm insulation! so with the 25mm tri iso it made the door finish at 57mm. I tried to get 20mm insulation but no one had it in at the time. In hind sight i should have done it in idigbo as it was bloody heavy.

I was just wondering about the gap at the bottom having gone to all that trouble !!

Oh rite, sorry i was talking bout the sapele door with glazing. That 8 panel door is outside, its the entrance in the walled garden to the lane.
