Heres something a bit different. A customer of mine came to me wanting a small timber office/put me up room in the garden a couple of months ago so i did a few sketches for them an this is what we came up with.

7x2 roughly curved on the bandsaw then spindle moulder.

4x2 base with curved joists bolted to sides. joists were big dominoed and structural ply glued and nailed over joints.

t&g v boarding to insides.

Sparky doing his work.

Walls and floor insulated. breathable felt on with counter battens.

Feather edge boarding on.

Front horse shoe on.

Making the bench/bed

Vwala. All done.

The missus dressed it up a bit an took a pic.

Electrics were on a small mains board under the bench with commando plug connection on the outside. 2 lengths of led lighting in the ridge in a upside down T section so it throws the lights down the walls. 2 double sockets with usb charge points.

IMHO I don't think the seat shape/design is up to the rest of it though ?

Interesting, I see them up for auction here. Wonder what you think of the sale price. I think last time they went for about £2800 plus 15% buyers premium.

Yes ive seen those an ive seen somilar close up an to be honest i wouldnt waste my hard earned money on them. Theres not that much difference in price either. This was my first an it took 6 working days. But after getting the design right an teething troubles i could do it in 5 easy.
