Few Bits N Pieces - Pic Heavy

As Jan is a bit cold and slow, I'd thought I would add some photos of the sort of work we have been doing lately.

Oak Zigzag stairs and Glass balustrade.

Quite a bit of thinking involved with these, making sure everything worked correctly
with the steel framing and the glass. Handrail did cause a bit of an issue with the 90deg corner on the pitch but client very happy with the result.






Birch Plywood & Oak stairs.

The birch plywood cabinets pretty much are the main support for the stairs, which we then fitted Oak treads/rised and the handrail. Client over the moon with how these turned out. Architect pretty much designed as stardard set of stairs with some storage boxes underneath. We don't do standard so had to change things slightly.








Painted Kitchen

Nice little kitchen at the end of last year. Client liked the look of the exposed birch plywood, so used this for the carcases and draw boxes. Doors and drawer fronts in Oak with a matt pingmented AC lacquer finish.

All lovely, good job. I really like the under stairs cupboards, modern but still looks right in an older property, good work. Kitchen also nice, wife just asked for ours to be painted the same colour, thanks.

Lovely work mate, if i can pick your brains on the zigzag stair glass how is that attached on the side and also since i have been supplying glass for a couple of staircases recently i have been told by my supplier that when the glass provides the fall protection it should be 15mm toughened/laminated as opposed to just toughened yet i have seen lots of pics where it isn't laminated...some clarity would be nice.

Great work, those stairs are all fantastic. Do you know what the kitchen colour is called? Now making ours and that colour is just right. Also, what are the worktops?

Lovin all of it and a wee question, how did you construct the drawers, no dovetails ? I'd use dominos myself, were it me constructing them. Hope to be making my next kitchen rather than buying in and fitting, this is the style I'd like use but maybe in wood and painted combination.
